Resident Evil 9: Requiem – Grace's Report as an FBI Document
Resident Evil 9: Requiem – Grace's Report as an FBI Document

Ever since I played Resident Evil Requiem a few months back, I was intrigued by Grace Ashcroft's Report at the end of the game. It being a “report”, felt odd that it was presented as a sparse slide show. Seemed natural that it needs to be read as a document, in a typical bland format that FBI uses. I finally found some time to go ahead and put this together in a document format palatable for myself.

Some noteworthy points about this document:
- Not a single character in the text is altered. Content is verbatim conserved.
- Title slides have become titles of sections, they all come at start of a page (except section "1990s", too small to dedicate an entire page).
- Slides transitions are either marked by a horizontal line or a page change.
- Every image is incorporated and unchanged, other than:
- Intro image where I added a blue outline to match the title page aesthetic.
- I cropped spensor’s portrait trimming out black areas pixel perfect.
- Credits to Wiki Fandom for all the report images.
- Two images are generated by AI:
- Grace's photo ID on title page.
- Grace's signature at the end of the document.
- Document is 20 pages, created using OnlyOffice, Raw odt is 60MB, exported pdf 8.3MB, compressed further to 7MB.
And finally I read Grace's Report with all the seriousness it deserved. Hope other RE fans find this report useful too. When this game was announced I ignored it, as I did not think I would have time to play a full 12+ hours game. But I gave in, and carved out some time and played my heart out.
